We are just now recovering from our mini-vacay that stated last Thursday. We loaded up and headed to Georgia. We got tickets for the Braves game Friday night and GA Aquarium tickets for Saturday.
Thursday night we stayed in McRae, Ga. It’s about 2.5 hours from here and about 1.5 hours from any where good to eat. It is about 3 hours from a Target…so let’s just say-out in the middle of NO WHERE. My Uncle has a house where the guys are pretty much every weekend from September to January. Now I know why. It was very quiet and alot cooler than here in FL. It’s a hunter’s dream. It sleeps about 10-15 hunters and it’s cleaner than my house (really…my uncle is OCD and it was SPOTLESS!). If only it had a pool….I could hang a little longer.
.
Brock LOVES coming here. I know he’ll be a hunter just like Daddy and Jeremy can FORGET ever getting away to hunt with out this one right behind him.
Friday morning, after a little fishing and four-wheeler ridin’, we headed to Atlanta. It’s only about a 3 hour drive. So it broke up the drive for us. We headed to Turner Field about 5:30. It was fun to walk around. They had a Cartoon Network play area for kids and of course, we had to take a few pictures.
Isn’t this last picture precious? He was being a brat, but it turned out perfect and will be going in his baseball bedroom!

I love Chipper Jones! This is of course why I chose seats on the third base.
We finally made it to our seats and of course had a fair share of cotton candy, hot dogs, coke and nachos.
Jeremy…I mean Brock really smiling. Dang! Is he his Daddy or what?
They say baseball is slow…well I guess Brock thinks so. He totally passed out in the 2nd inning and slept for the next four.
When he woke up…he was his precious, still tired and can’t be happy self. All he said after his mini nap was…I wanna go home! So we left about the 8th inning. But…that game went into 11 innings and the BRAVES WON! YAY!
The next day we headed to the aquarium. They claim it’s the largest in the world…and the ticket prices fit! I LOVE this kind of stuff, more than Jeremy, Brock and about five other people combined. I thought it was so cool. It was very kid friendly, with tunnels they could crawl through and of course…a GIFT SHOP!

I loved it. It was ocean life…in AC, without rocky seas, sticky salt water and no danger. Jeremy and Brock would of rather stayed in McRae on the four-wheeler. But anyway…I’m glad we got to go there.
