While we were eating Easter lunch Brock had his eye on this OLD tricycle at Grandma's and Papa's. It was green and sat up very high. So high that it has two steps on the back...whose grand idea was that? Make a bike for kids sooo tall they need steps?
Anyway we thought okay fine...get on it...and there you'll sit. I had no idea...that this little boy (who acts like a 10 year old stuck in a 3 year old body) could pedal this thing. Before we knew it he was down the drive way. He had a blast and was soooo proud of himself. He only had one spill. When he fell I ran over and before I could get there Grandma said , "He's fine." I think she said it more for me than him. He got up, brushed off his tummy, and with his bottom lip quivering said "I'm tough Mama, I'm otay...I'm tough.
It made my heart melt. It made me realize how I baby this little BOY. It made me sad because he's not my little baby anymore!
He was back on that bike and before we knew it...down the drive way!
Can't wait to see what other fun things this little, big boy has in store for me!
