Well Brock was offically 18 months old yesterday and today he had is 18 month check up. He weighed 26 lbs and 10 oz (down 3 punds from 12 months check up) and was 33 and 3/4 " (90th percentile). All good news to us.
Grandma (Jeremy's grandma-Brock's Great Grandma) went with us today. She was such a big help. Brock HATES the dr. now. As soon as he gets into the room, he begins to cry. I finally get him settled, then he cries again when Dr Connolly comes in, screams the entire time until he leaves, get him settled again, SCREAMS again for the shot and then we are done! See why it was essential that Grandma came! But everyone tells me that it is normal. I hope so.
Also, Brock had something to look forward to when he got home today, Daddy. Jeremy has been gone since Saturday for guys trip to Biloxi, MS for some card playing and football watching. They stayed here. IT is one of the only two casinos left since Katrina...But he was so glad to see his daddy! What a sweet bond he has.

My daughter cried from 18-months to just past 3 years old EVERY single trip to the Dr. It was stressful to say the least, but thankfully about 6 months ago it clicked that they weren't going to hurt her :)
Well, except at shot time :P
